This part-time contract opportunity is perfect for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who enjoys working with children and thrives in a collaborative environment. Youll focus on the essential task of ensuring that students with medication administration needs receive timely, professional care throughout the school year.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver medication administration to students, adhering to individual care plans
- Monitor students health status and document any changes or incidents
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and school staff to promote student well-being
- Respond promptly to health concerns or emergent situations
- Maintain all necessary health records and comply with regulatory guidelines
- Offer health education and guidance to students as appropriate
Preferred Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid RN or LPN license for the state of Washington
- Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or educational environment is a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail
This onsite position spans one school (September 3rd through June 15th) with a manageable part-time schedule of 12.5 hours weeklyallowing for work-life balance and consistency across the academic year.
