A school district in Aurora, CO is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to support students across the district for the upcoming school year.
School Nurses will provide care in school health rooms serving students in Pre-K through 12th grade. Responsibilities include:
Medication administration
Diabetic care and health monitoring
Basic first aid and illness assessment
Health screenings, including temperature checks
Following district health and infectious disease protocols
Communicating with parents, staff, and healthcare providers
Educating students and families on health-related topics
Maintaining accurate health records and documentation
Position Details:
Full-time
MondayFriday
40 hours per week
Serving students in Pre-K through 12th grade
Qualifications:
Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing
Colorado Special Services Provider License (or eligibility to obtain one with the appropriate endorsement)
