Desired Background:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential and/or experience as a Paraprofessional, ABA Therapist, or RBT in schools
- Associates Degree or higher; or, a Paraprofessional certification with several years experience supporting mild to severe behavioral challenges
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and individualized student interventions
- Positive communication skills and a compassionate, patient approach
- Adaptability and composure in dynamic school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one and group behavioral support to students identified with a range of behavioral needs
- Implement individualized ABA strategies under the direction of school professionals
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote student success
- Accurately record data and report on student progress and behavioral outcomes
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure a safe, supportive learning environment
- Assist with classroom activities and provide guidance throughout the school day
