This opportunity is for an Ed Tech III or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide essential support within an elementary school classroom setting in Standish, ME. This full-time, onsite role offers a unique chance to contribute directly to student success by assisting with behavioral and educational needs throughout the school day. This position is offered as a contract for the current school year (CSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver paraprofessional support to students under the supervision of certified teachers
- Implement behavioral interventions and assistance as outlined by individual education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance the learning environment
- Monitor student progress and maintain clear, documented records of interventions
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere to support student growth
Qualifications:
- Valid Ed Tech Certification III or active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in an educational or behavioral support capacity
- Ability to work onsite full time, 37.5 hours per week
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families
