A full-time opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Ed Tech III to support students in an elementary school setting in Oxford, ME. This contract position offers the chance to contribute directly to student development by providing paraprofessional support within the classroom. The role requires onsite presence during standard school hours, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers by delivering targeted support to students with special needs.
- Implement behavior plans and strategies under the supervision of certified professionals.
- Monitor student progress and document observations to inform individualized education plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ed Tech Certification III or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
