Located near Martinsburg, WV, this onsite role offers the chance to work directly within an autism classroom, delivering high-quality behavioral support to students and collaborating with dedicated educational staff.
You will provide one-on-one and group behavioral interventions, ensure individualized strategies are implemented consistently, and contribute to a positive and productive learning atmosphere. Working 37.5 hours per week, you'll have consistent hours and the ability to build strong relationships with students who benefit from your specialized skills and attention.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational or autism-focused setting
- Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and collect data effectively
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, therapists, and staff
- Reliability and professionalism in adhering to program expectations
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct ABA-based services to elementary-aged students on the autism spectrum
- Assist with designing and implementing behavioral interventions in the classroom
- Support school staff with strategies and guidance on behavioral management
- Document student progress and contribute to individualized education planning
- Maintain a safe and encouraging environment for all students
