Job Description

Located in Greenville, SC, this full-time position seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct support in a K-2 elementary classroom. The role focuses on assisting students with mild to severe behavioral challenges, offering essential classroom support to promote a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support for students exhibiting mild to severe behaviors.
  • Monitor and document student progress and behavior data accurately.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the support team to ensure consistent behavior management strategies.
  • Assist in creating a structured and supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • Experience working with children, preferably in an elementary school setting.
  • Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of behavior intervention techniques and data collection methods.

This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 35 to 37.5 hours per week throughout the current school year (CSY). It provides an opportunity to make a significant impact on the academic and social development of young students with behavioral needs.
