Job Description
A part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position is available to provide specialized therapy services to preschool-aged students across two school sites in the Phoenix metropolitan area. This itinerant role requires working three days per week, with two days at a site in Chandler, AZ, and one day in West Phoenix, AZ.
Location:
- Chandler, AZ (2 days/week)
- West Phoenix, AZ (1 day/week)
Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Physical Therapist Assistant license
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Ability to deliver direct therapy services, complete progress notes, and support a supervising Physical Therapist
- Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to preschool students
- Document progress notes and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with and support the supervising Physical Therapist on caseload management
- Adhere to assigned schedules and therapy plans across two sites
Position Details:
- Contract to hire arrangement, starting ASAP through the end of the school year (exact dates to be confirmed)
- Part-time, three days per week (2 days in Chandler, 1 day in West Phoenix)
- Age group served: preschool children
- Supervision from the district is provided
- Interviewing conducted via Zoom or in-person, with individual interviews scheduled promptly
