Job Description

A Physical Therapist is needed to provide specialized support within a K-8 school setting in Woodland Park, CO. This contract position runs through the current school year, offering direct and indirect therapy services to students requiring physical therapy interventions. The role is onsite with a part-time commitment of approximately 1.5 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include conducting a comprehensive physical therapy evaluation for a student with an open reevaluation and delivering monthly services consisting of 60 minutes of direct therapy and 15 minutes of indirect or consultative services. The PT will manage a caseload of K-8 students, focusing on individualized treatment plans that support student mobility and functional skills development.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Masters Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current Physical Therapist license issued by the relevant State Board (e.g., NC Board of Physical Therapy Examiners)
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably K-8
  • Ability to perform thorough evaluations and implement therapy plans in an educational setting
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and clinical advisors

Location: Woodland Park, Colorado
Schedule: Part-time, onsite, approximately 1.5 hours per week
Contract duration: Immediately through the end of the school year
