Job Description

A full-time Physical Therapist is needed to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting in Webster, NY. This position offers the opportunity to provide specialized therapeutic services throughout the school year on a contract basis, helping students achieve their physical development and mobility goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized physical therapy interventions for students with diverse needs across all grade levels.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and monitor student progress and adapt services accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and reports in compliance with school policies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional expertise to support student success.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards within the educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with current credentials valid for practice in New York State.
  • Previous experience providing physical therapy services in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of developmental disabilities and educational regulations related to therapeutic services.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
