This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to practice as either a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in an itinerant capacity across multiple sites, supporting students in their educational journey.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant
• Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and school teams
• Ability to manage a caseload involving multiple locations
• Flexibility and organizational skills to thrive in an itinerant environment
• Competency with direct services, conducting assessments, and managing cases (PTs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy to students, focusing on functional mobility, strength, and participation in school activities
• Conduct evaluations, reassessments, and collaborate on eligibility decisions (PTs)
• Document interventions and progress, maintaining compliance with school and state requirements
• Provide necessary case management, including attending IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (PTs)
• For PTAs: Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed PT, providing effective direct therapy services across assigned schools
