Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed or certified Athletic Trainer (current and in good standing)
• Previous experience in a school or sports setting is highly valued
• Strong knowledge of sports injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with coaches, parents, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Adaptable to changing environments, especially during peak athletic seasons

Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate care to student-athletes during practices and games
• Design and implement injury prevention and rehabilitation programs
• Develop emergency action plans for athletic events
• Maintain accurate records of injuries, treatments, and rehabilitation progress
• Collaborate with coaches, school staff, and medical professionals to ensure optimal athlete health
• Educate students on safe practices and injury prevention
• Be present during peak sports seasons, primarily football and basketball
