Make a meaningful impact by supporting K-7th grade students as a dedicated Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant on a contract basis for the 2026-2027 school year. Located in the Holyoke, MA area, this opportunity offers an engaging environment where youll collaborate with educators and families to help students achieve their physical developmental milestones. With a consistent 30-hour workweek, youll form lasting connections while helping students grow and succeed.
What Were Seeking:
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant license
- Experience delivering therapy in a school setting, preferably with elementary and middle-school-aged children
- Strong communication skills when working with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt treatment plans to meet diverse student needs
- Compassion, creativity, and a team-oriented approach
Role Highlights:
- Provide physical therapy services to K-7th grade students according to individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans based on student progress and therapist/teacher input
- Document therapy services and maintain accurate records as required by school guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, Case Managers, and other school personnel to maximize student access to educational programming
- Educate staff and families about interventions and strategies that support student participation and success

Compensation for this position ranges from $32.00 to $61.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
