Job Description

Step into an impactful role supporting students as a full-time Physical Therapist for the upcoming Fall semester of 2026. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic, itinerant experience, covering a variety of educational settings for K-12 students. You will serve as maternity leave coverage, working across multiple sites each week for a total of 37.5 hours. Bring your expertise and passion for helping young learners gain confidence and independence in their school environments.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license and certification in Oregon
  • Experience in a school-based setting, preferably with K-12 populations
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible, itinerant schedule, moving between multiple school locations
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, teachers, and families
  • Must provide contact information for three most recent supervisor references for consideration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Assess student needs, develop treatment plans, and document progress
  • Collaborate with special education teams, classroom staff, and families to support educational and developmental goals
  • Travel between assigned school sites to provide consistent services across a diverse caseload
  • Support both short-term and ongoing cases as part of maternity leave coverage, ensuring seamless transitions for students
