Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• Experience in school settings is highly valued
• Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and documentation practices
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and parents
• Proficient in adapting therapy techniques for diverse student needs, from early childhood through adolescence

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer assessments to determine students physical therapy needs and develop appropriate intervention plans
• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services in classrooms and school facilities
• Set and monitor functional goals, develop treatment plans, and adjust interventions as needed
• Document student progress, prepare evaluation reports, and participate in IEP meetings
• Educate school personnel and families on mobility, adaptive equipment, and strategies for accessibility
• Participate actively in collaborative problem-solving to support students functional and academic success
