Job Description

This position involves providing physical therapy services within a dynamic K-12 educational setting in San Francisco, CA. The role supports students across the early childhood to transition age spectrum, working itinerantly districtwide with small caseloads at up to a dozen school sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy interventions and assessments to students spanning early childhood through transition.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans.
  • Manage a caseload distributed among up to a dozen school locations, ensuring consistent and effective care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state requirements.
  • Participate in professional development and clinical consultations to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Physical Therapist License required.
  • Experience working in pediatric or school-based physical therapy settings preferred.
  • Ability to manage itinerant caseloads efficiently across multiple schools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for teamwork with educators and families.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth through mentorship and training.

Job Details:
