Job Description
Make an impact supporting students by providing physical therapy services throughout a diverse school district in a part-time contract position. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Physical Therapist seeking a flexible schedule while serving a caseload of approximately 2028 students across multiple school sites for the upcoming 20262027 school year (August 5th to June 3rd).
Youll work closely with both special and general education teams and IEP members, offering direct therapy at various school buildings in the Roseville/Antelope region and contributing your expertise during IEP meetings. The district is open to flexible scheduling options; prior therapists have attended sites two days a week and devoted a third day for documentation, but arrangements can be tailored to caseload needsup to 20 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapy license in California
- PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) Credential required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric PT setting highly preferred
- Able to serve students across multiple sites in-person (not telehealth/hybrid)
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEP goals an advantage
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group physical therapy interventions to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary IEP teams
- Travel between assigned schools, providing flexible, targeted services based on student needs
- Complete required reports and maintain thorough records in accordance with district policies
- Consult and collaborate with school staff, administrators, and caregivers
