This opportunity is for a Physical Therapist to provide specialized support within a K-12 school setting in Peyton, CO, focused on K-8 students. The position runs from ASAP until the end of the school year and operates onsite, offering a part-time commitment of approximately 1.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities include delivering direct physical therapy services totaling 60 minutes per month and providing 15 minutes per month of indirect consultation for an individual student. This student has an open reevaluation, requiring a thorough PT evaluation to ensure appropriate care and progress monitoring.
Key qualifications and requirements:
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy
- Valid Physical Therapist license issued by the North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
- Ability to conduct evaluations and design therapeutic programs tailored to student needs
- Prior experience working in a school environment with pediatric caseloads is advantageous
