Bring your expertise in physical therapy to support students across a dynamic district near Olympia, WA for the 2026-2027 school year! This full-time, onsite opportunity is ideal for dedicated professionals passionate about fostering student development in a K-12 setting. Youll be serving a diverse caseload of 25-30 students, providing direct services across the district from September 9, 2026, through June 16, 2027.
Desired qualifications:
- Active Washington State Physical Therapist license, or willingness to obtain before the start date
- Experience or strong interest in working within schools with students K-12
- Ability to provide therapy services in-person; virtual/remote work is not available for this role
- Must be able to complete fingerprinting clearance through OSPI, or be open to fulfilling this requirement prior to beginning the position
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with students, teachers, and support staff
- Previous school-based or pediatric PT experience preferred, but not required
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to students, supporting individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes for each student
- Document services, progress, and outcomes according to district and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs
- Support students in a variety of settings across the district, tailoring interventions to meet each individuals needs
