Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Current Masters degree in Physical Therapy is required
• Valid Louisiana physical therapist license
• Experience working in a school-based or pediatric environment is strongly preferred

• Ability to adapt to various educational levels and diverse student needs
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students physical therapy needs within the educational context
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students IEPs
• Deliver direct therapy services to support mobility, access, and participation in school activities
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Monitor student progress, maintain detailed documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide training and resources for staff and parents on strategies and modifications
