Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Physical Therapist in an elementary school setting near Naugatuck, CT. This contract opportunity is ideal for those who enjoy working with children and want flexible, part-time hours during the academic year. You'll be assigned to one school, primarily serving students in grades K5 (subject to change). The schedule consists of two days per week, with flexibility on which days you work.

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license for the state of Connecticut
• Experience in school-based settings preferred, or a strong background providing pediatric physical therapy
• Comfortable working independently and consulting with a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and implement physical therapy interventions for elementary students
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans to support student mobility, access, and participation
• Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Serve as a resource for school staff regarding adaptive equipment and mobility supports
• Maintain compliance with district policies and all applicable regulations
