Job Description

A contracted, full-time opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to work onsite in a dynamic school-based setting serving students from kindergarten through high school. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team of therapists and educators to foster student success and independence.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant license valid in Massachusetts
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, teachers, and families
  • Ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload effectively
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Support the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) and document student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines
  • Assist in assessments and develop activity plans to support student participation and access to the curriculum
  • Contribute to an inclusive, positive school environment promoting student growth and independence

Compensation for this position ranges from $32.00 to $61.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
