Job Description

Providing physical therapy services within a K-12 school environment in Los Angeles, CA, this contract position offers 20 hours per week during the normal school year (NSY). The role requires a California Physical Therapist (PT) license and experience in working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid California PT license
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and healthcare professionals
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy evaluation and treatment services to students aged 5-18 within the school setting
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that support educational goals
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic strategies as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and school district standards
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders
  • Support accommodations and modifications to maximize student participation and success
