Job Description

Desired Qualifications

  • Active North Carolina Physical Therapy License (must be verified)
  • Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
  • Ability to provide on-site services exclusively
  • Skilled at working with multidisciplinary educational teams
  • Proficient in documentation using ECATS and Infinite Campus (or similar systems)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services aligned with IEP goals for assigned students
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and help develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate effectively with educators, special education professionals, and families
  • Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and compliance reporting
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions and student support
  • Support students access and participation throughout the school environment
  • Routinely monitor progress and adjust interventions as appropriate

This role runs from August 17, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with an estimated schedule of 3 hours per week, focusing on a manageable caseload of about three students. It's an excellent opportunity for a PT looking to make a meaningful impact while working part-time.
