Job Description

This position offers an opportunity to provide physical therapy services in an elementary school setting within a leave contract. The role is located near Lebanon, OH, supporting students in early childhood education from pre-kindergarten through 2nd grade. The assignment runs from January to April, with a part-time schedule of four days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy interventions and support tailored to the needs of elementary-aged students.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals.
  • Maintain documentation using the districts IEP system and comply with administrative requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings and complete indirect administrative duties as required.
  • Provide services within a dedicated therapy space.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with experience working in school settings.
  • Ability to manage caseload effectively, supporting children from PK to 2nd grade.
  • Comfort with indirect hours for administrative tasks and team collaboration.
  • Flexibility to attend interviews via Zoom and adapt to the districts workflow.
  • Willingness to meet credentialing standards, including any background or fingerprinting requirements.

Schedule and Duration:

  • Part-time, 4 days per week
  • Contract duration: January through April
  • Leave replacement role
