Bring your expertise as a Physical Therapist to a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic school setting near Lakeview, MI. This onsite position spans approximately 28 hours per week at one location, with the potential for the schedule to reach 30 hours weekly, which may enable full-time benefits. As part of a supportive, student-centered team, youll help students access the mobility and participation they need to succeed both academically and socially. This assignment offers the chance to engage with a varied caseload, with specific details to be determined in collaboration with the district.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare physical therapy settings
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to working onsite with students and staff
- Ability to adapt to evolving caseloads and student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to students as part of their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assess, develop, and implement treatment plans tailored to each students goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Accurately document progress and maintain compliance with district and special education guidelines
- Contribute to team meetings and assist with case management as needed
