Desired Skills & Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist license and registration (state requirements apply)
• Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations
• Strong understanding of IEPs, progress reporting, and goal setting
• Ability to assess, develop, and implement effective therapy plans tailored to student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and parents
• Adaptability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and varying abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy assessments and treatments as part of a students educational plan
• Develop and monitor goals and objectives tailored to each childs needs within the school environment
• Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and families
• Document student progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
• Provide guidance on adaptive equipment and modifications to support student participation
• Attend and actively contribute to IEP meetings and student planning sessions
• Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to promote optimal student function in the classroom
