Job Description

This opportunity is for a physical therapy position serving elementary school students in Dover, NJ. The role requires providing therapy services across two schools, working approximately 25 hours per week from the start of the school year through the end of the school year. The position is for a contracted or part-time therapist with experience in school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services to students in grades PK through 5th
  • Utilize district-approved IEP systems and participate in any provided training sessions
  • Maintain documentation and participate in paid team meetings and administrative time as designated
  • Coordinate services within the caseload/workload model as defined by the district
  • Provide itinerant therapy services with paid travel between assigned schools

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid physical therapy licensure with experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and special education compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently and work collaboratively with staff and families
  • Comfortable participating in remote interview processes and adaptable to flexible scheduling

Location: Dover, New Jersey
Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week
