Make a difference in the lives of K-7th grade students by stepping into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. This fulfilling role will have you supporting the development and success of young learners in an engaging school environment, working 30 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License
- Prior experience in a school-based, pediatric, or youth-oriented environment is preferred
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, staff, and families
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassion, flexibility, and commitment to fostering student independence and participation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to K-7th grade students as outlined by IEPs and 504 plans
- Conduct assessments to determine students mobility, motor skills, and overall physical capabilities
- Collaborate with teachers, special education professionals, and families to support student goals
- Maintain thorough documentation on student progress, treatment sessions, and recommended modifications
- Participate in team meetings, provide input on intervention strategies, and educate staff on supportive practices

Compensation for this position ranges from $32.00 to $61.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
