Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current and valid Louisiana Physical Therapist license
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Flexibility in managing caseloads spanning multiple ages and grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop intervention strategies
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans to address motor skill development, mobility, and functional participation in the educational environment
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other related service professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Provide direct therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
• Document progress, maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, and participate in IEP meetings
• Educate and support families regarding physical therapy goals and progress
