A dynamic opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support students across four schools in a PreK-12 educational setting in Idaho Springs, CO. This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about contributing to school communities while working part-time with manageable caseloads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to 12-15 students across four schools.
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and school regulations.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student needs and outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Colorado PTA or PT license required.
- Experience working in school or pediatric healthcare settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively in a part-time capacity.
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations.
Position Details:
- Location: Idaho Springs, CO.
- Grade Level: PreK-12.
- Hours: 10-12 hours per week, spread over 4 days.
- Contract Duration: Immediate start through the end of the current school year with potential extension into the 26-27 school year.
- Caseload: Four schools with approximately 12-15 students.
