Job Description

A Physical Therapist is needed for an itinerant assignment supporting students from early childhood through transition in a K-12 school district located in Fremont, CA. This contract position runs from September 15, 2025, through June 3, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. The role is on-site and involves working across multiple school locations within the district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services to students districtwide, from early childhood through transition.
  • Manage a small caseload spread across up to a dozen school sites, ensuring individualized attention.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement therapy plans tailored to student needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required by district protocols.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall educational goals for each student.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Physical Therapy license is required.
  • Experience working in school settings, ideally with an itinerant model, supporting students across multiple sites.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to foster student success.
  • Commitment to supporting students physical development in an educational environment.
