Job Description

A Physical Therapist (PT) opportunity is available for a contract position serving a K-12 school in Fort Valley, GA. This onsite role requires 15 hours per week and is ideal for a licensed professional interested in supporting students physical therapy needs within an educational setting throughout the school year.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing skilled physical therapy services to K-12 students to support their educational and physical development goals
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as necessary
  • Ensuring compliance with state and school policies related to physical therapy services

Qualifications:

  • Valid Georgia Physical Therapist license is required
  • Experience working with school-age children, particularly in a K-12 setting, is preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and families
