Key Qualifications:
- Valid PT license for the state of Florida
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and parents
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting the unique needs of students in an educational context
Responsibilities:
- Conduct onsite physical therapy evaluations and treatments for students, as assigned
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to each students IEP goals
- Track and maintain accurate documentation of all sessions and student progress
- Communicate regularly with educational staff and families regarding student needs and progress
- Ensure compliance with all school district and state regulations pertaining to physical therapy in schools
