Qualifications:
- Active California Physical Therapist license (required)
- Previous experience in a school-based physical therapy setting preferred
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and pediatric therapy best practices
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students physical therapy needs within the school environment
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals for students
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services as outlined in student IEPs
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance documentation
- Educate school staff and families on strategies to support students physical development
- Contribute to IEP meetings and participate in team collaboration
