A K-12 school in Fairport, NY, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic services to students across the full grade range. This contract position offers flexibility, with hours ranging from three days per week to full time, tailored to meet the needs of the caseload.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy evaluations and treatments to students in a school setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving functional mobility and participation in educational activities.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapies and student progress.
- Participate in meetings to discuss student goals and progress as part of the multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in school-based therapy.
- Familiarity with pediatric physical therapy practices within K-12 educational environments.
- Ability to manage a full K-12 caseload, adapting interventions to diverse student needs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working within healthcare settings is beneficial.
