Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid physical therapist license for Ohio
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to various student needs across multiple grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services tailored to each student's goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and other therapists, to ensure student progress and support
  • Monitor, document, and communicate student outcomes and adjustments to therapy plans
  • Provide training and resources for school staff and families to reinforce therapy goals in different settings
