Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a part-time Physical Therapist supporting students across three engaging school settings for the 2026-2027 school year. This position offers meaningful experience in a therapeutic day school environment, where your expertise will directly impact students growth and independence.

In this role, youll provide physical therapy services two days per week, rotating among an elementary school, high school, and a transition program. Youll work with a diverse student population, collaborating with educators and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Physical Therapist license in Illinois (IL PT)
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Familiarity with IEP development and documentation processes
• Compassion and adaptability in working with students of varying abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students needs and establish targeted therapy goals
• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services that integrate into the school day
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure supportive learning environments
• Document treatment progress and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
• Support students development of gross motor skills, mobility, and independence
• Travel between three schools (elementary, high school, transition program) during scheduled days
