Job Description

Provide physical therapy services to elementary school students in a dynamic, supportive school environment located in Dover, NJ. This part-time contract role involves working with children from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade within two assigned schools, delivering therapy services based on individual education plans (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to students in grades PK-5.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation aligned with district requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings and administrative duties as required.
  • Utilize the districts IEP system effectively; training will be provided.
  • Manage caseload within the districts workload model.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in pediatric or school-based settings.
  • Strong knowledge of developmental and physical therapy techniques appropriate for young children.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with school personnel.
  • Comfortable using electronic IEP systems; training available if needed.
  • Availability for approximately 25 hours per week.
  • Flexibility to work across two school locations.

  • Dover, New Jersey (elementary schools serving PK-5 students).
