Job Description

Step into a dynamic role supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school environments as a school-based physical therapist. Qualifications:

  • Current Ohio physical therapist license (required)
  • Masters degree in Physical Therapy (required)
  • School-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs, classroom adaptations, and sensory-motor interventions
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to adapt to serving multiple grade levels and a wide range of student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students functional mobility and develop evidence-based intervention plans
  • Deliver direct physical therapy services in group and individual settings
  • Consult with teachers and staff to implement classroom strategies and supports
  • Contribute to the development and revision of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide documentation of progress, services delivered, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and communicate findings to families and educational teams
  • Adjust interventions as necessary to promote participation and safety within school routines
