Job Description

Take on an impactful contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant educational environment. This full-time position runs from August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with daytime hours Monday through Friday. As an onsite physical therapist, you'll work closely with students in grades K-12, developing and implementing individualized plans to enhance their physical capabilities and overall educational experience. The caseload will range from 35 to 50 students, varying based on the level of support required by each child.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist license through ECPTOTE.
• Direct experience as a PT in a school or pediatric setting is highly preferred.
• Ability to assess student needs, set realistic goals, and deliver both direct and indirect PT services.
• Skilled in collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student success.
• Strong communication, time management, and documentation abilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students physical therapy needs.
• Design and carry out individualized intervention plans tailored to diverse grade levels and abilities.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district policies and state regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and recommendations.
• Educate and support teachers and staff in techniques and accommodations for student access.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices within the school environment.
