What Were Looking For:
- Current and active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Massachusetts
- Previous experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to assess and address the physical needs of students, promote mobility, and support students' educational access
- Commitment to professional growth and maintaining strong relationships with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, school staff, and family members to create and implement effective therapy plans
- Document assessments, progress, and therapy outcomes in accordance with school policies and regulatory standards
- Support students in achieving their physical development goals through individualized interventions and adaptive strategies
- Participate in meetings and provide recommendations as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
