Job Description

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) supporting K-12 students in the greater Cambridge, MA area. This onsite position offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and clinicians while making a daily impact in students lives.

In this full-time role, youll help implement therapy plans under the direction of licensed Occupational Therapists, working closely with students across multiple grade levels. Your contributions will nurture skill development and support each childs academic journey.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts COTA license (required)
  • Previous experience as a PT or in a school-based therapy setting strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with the needs of K-12 students
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
  • Commitment to fostering inclusion and positive student outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapeutic interventions as directed by an Occupational Therapist
  • Support students with a variety of needs to access the curriculum and school environment
  • Document daily and weekly student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to maximize student participation
  • Prepare materials and adapt activities for individual student plans
  • Participate in team meetings and share insights into student progress
