A healthcare professional with experience in school-based physical therapy is needed for a contract position in Camarillo, CA. This role focuses on providing physical therapy services in a school setting throughout the current school year (CSY).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized physical therapy evaluations and treatments to students within the school environment
• Collaborate with educators, healthcare providers, and families to develop and implement effective therapy plans
• Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports according to regulatory and district guidelines
• Participate in team meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and review
• Ensure compliance with school policies and healthcare standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with experience working in school-based settings
• Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy techniques and interventions relevant to educational environments
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage caseloads and maintain accurate records
• Familiarity with healthcare protocols within school systems
