Qualifications and Experience
- Active Physical Therapist licensure in Florida
- Previous experience in school settings or pediatric PT preferred
- Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and families
- Effective communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to ethical, student-centered care
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite physical therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Assess new students and contribute to evaluation reports and progress monitoring
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise regarding therapeutic interventions
