Job Description
This contract position is for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Physical Therapist (PT) opportunity serving a K-12 school district in Idaho Springs, CO. The role supports students from Pre-K through 12th grade across four schools, providing therapy services to a caseload of 12-15 students. This part-time position offers 10-12 hours per week, spread over four days, beginning ASAP through the end of the current school year and continuing into the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students in compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
- Adapt therapy goals and techniques to meet diverse student needs in a school setting.
Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado PTA or PT license is required.
- Experience working with Pre-K through 12th-grade students preferred.
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple schools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Location:
- Idaho Springs, Colorado
Schedule:
