Ideal Qualifications:
- Active MA COTA license required
- Prior experience or strong interest in working within schools or pediatric settings
- Knowledge of PT and OT strategies for diverse learners and age groups
- Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills to work alongside therapists, teachers, and families
- Adaptability to respond to a varied caseload and evolving student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions developed by supervising therapists, adapting approaches for students individual goals in fine and gross motor skills, sensory integration, and daily activities
- Support implementation of IEPs, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in team meetings as needed
- Foster a positive learning environment that motivates students to engage and progress
- Communicate clearly with staff and families about student progress and collaborate on strategies for success
- Uphold ethical, professional, and confidentiality standards in all interactions
