Step into a rewarding part-time contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Physical Therapist within a vibrant elementary school environment. Youll enjoy a flexible two-days-per-week schedule (select your preferred days!) at a single campus, allowing you to build meaningful connections with staff and students across grades K-5. Though the majority of your caseload will consist of elementary-aged children, there may be chances to work with different age groups, offering a dynamic, engaging experience throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Physical Therapist licensure in Connecticut
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to various developmental levels
• Comfort using technology for documentation and meetings (Google Meets platform for interviews)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, design, and deliver tailored therapeutic plans for students, fostering physical development and functional independence
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
• Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with school requirements
• Promote an inclusive, supportive classroom environment for all students
• Serve as an onsite resource for strategies and best practices related to student mobility and physical accessibility
