What Youll Bring:
- Valid Massachusetts Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License
- Experience or genuine interest in working within a school setting
- Understanding of pediatric therapy techniques appropriate for children in kindergarten through 7th grade
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, parents, and other specialists
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for students of diverse abilities
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to meet students individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess and document students progress, refining therapy approaches as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to facilitate student participation in school activities
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and families on mobility, adaptive equipment, and classroom modifications
- Maintain thorough records to support student progress and compliance requirements
