Ideal candidates will bring clinical knowledge, creativity, and compassion, utilizing evidence-based practices to help students overcome barriers to learning and participation. Youll play a key role in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans that foster academic and developmental success.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program (required)
  • Current Ohio physical therapist license (in good standing)
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Exceptional organizational and documentation abilities
  • Adaptability to work across elementary, middle, and high school environments

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy evaluations and implement evidence-based treatment plans for students ages 518
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each students individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Educate school personnel and families about strategies to support motor development and access to learning
  • Promote student independence and participation in everyday activities within the school setting
